PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Challenges

Four quay cranes were surveyed. To reduce significant structural vibration during crane operation, repairs to the trolley, trolley rail and boom-girder hinge had previously been carried out by another company. The effectiveness of the repair was assessed using measurement data obtained before and after the repair from strain gauges and accelerometers

The effectiveness of the repairs to the trolley, trolley rail and boom-girder hinge was assessed using measurement data obtained before and after the repair from strain gauges and accelerometers.
